During the week I went to school in Albacete and on the weekends we went to Alicante. The living environment was very nice and I really liked the atmosphere in Albacete, there was no danger. I had the opportunity to see the surrounding towns and villages and do activities; I was never bored. Everything went very well with the whole family (grandparents, parents, and children), they were very nice to me, I felt like I was an extra daughter. This experience is unforgettable and it’s the best thing to do to learn Spanish and see different ways of living.

Our daughter went to Ireland for the first time at the age of 13 to stay with Tracey's family. She had a wonderful time and experienced a fantastic adventure with Tracey, her husband, and their two children who welcomed her like their own daughter/sister. I spent a week with Giulia and Ben and the stay was very pleasant. I had all my meals with them and I had the opportunity to speak in English several hours a day. In the morning I had lessons with Ben and I made a lot of progress. I had chosen to be free in the afternoons to visit London, but often Giulia suggested walks and visits, which was very nice. The room is very spacious with its private bathroom and it is very well arranged. Giulia and Ben are really very accommodating and very warm. I spent a wonderful week in their company. Very available, always listening to me, allowing me to share their various life moments, meet their friends, play sports with them, have dinner in an Indian restaurant, taste a delicious fish and chips, enjoy a "British" breakfast in a typical neighborhood restaurant, have a drink in a pub, and visit surrounding castles. High-quality classes every morning with Ben, empathetic, very attentive, and precise in his explanations. Giulia, very cheerful, lively, and dynamic, always taking great care and an excellent cook, with whom I had fascinating discussions. I spent three weeks with Lizz, and this beautiful experience truly left a lasting impression on me—from the moment she picked me up at the airport to when she dropped me off for my departure. We shared many memorable activities, including a comedy show, a visit to the Charles M. Schulz (Peanuts) Museum, wine tastings, trips to Bodega Bay and Kenwood, and more. Every activity was an opportunity to learn new vocabulary and improve my English in a very natural way. I also had the chance to meet her friends—one in particular was amazing. We spent time together tasting wine and visiting several places, which made the experience even more enriching. Of course, I cannot forget her English lessons. She is simply outstanding—no pressure, a very effective and personalized teaching method, and a strong focus on American pronunciation. And her cooking… absolutely delicious! Last but not least, her home is very clean and comfortable. Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
