I am an ESL and English Writing teacher with over 30 years of experience. I have a doctorate in Second Language Acquisition and Curriculum and have developed English teaching material especially for professionals working in Silicon Valley. I also coach college students for everything from entry applications through doctoral dissertations. Many lessons are incorporated into local activities, such as visits to wineries, breweries, art galleries, and museums. You will have a wide variety of opportunities to practice and improve listening, speaking, and reading. Lessons in English Writing at any level are also available by request. Show and event prices include two tickets. Transportation costs are round trip.

Life with your host family

Morning starts with breakfast indoors or out - the weather is perfect here.
Around 9 am, we start English curriculum designed for your goals and to improve your listening and speaking skills. Lessons can range from 2-5 hours/day and be incorporated into activities outside the house. (Lessons need to be taken as extra, not included in the price)
