Hello! We are a warm and active family living in the state of Maryland between Washington, DC and Baltimore, about 4 hours from New York City.

We are a family of four: a dad, a mom, and two kids. The mom is a French teacher and can help with language learning! The dad is a professional.

Our two children (13 years old, boy, and 10 years old, girl) are friendly and used to meeting new people.

We will make sure you feel like a part of the family while helping you improve your communication in English. We love to explore, be outdoors, and spend time together.

To avoid hours of traffic in the Washington DC area, the best airport is BWI (Baltimore, Maryland) but another possibility is Dulles, Washington DC.

Our guests will have their own private bedroom and bathroom. BWI Baltimore is a 20 minute drive from our home, with the least commute and traffic. It is the easiest airport. Dulles, Washington DC is possible but with traffic generally about an hour drive.

Life with your host family

You will arrive at BWI (Baltimore) or IAD (Dulles) and stay at our home in Clarksville, Maryland.
In the summer, a typical day might include a hike, swimming in our pool, or visiting with family members and cousins nearby. On the weekend, we might go shopping, travel nearby, and play sports outside. On Sundays we attend church.
