Corrine is a former banker in finance and has a lot of experience with hosting and teaching international students of all ages. Barry is a retired Rugby coach. We are both happy living in a small village called "Harlaston" on the outskirts of Tamworth & Lichfield. The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield is a 20-minute journey by train or bus (both nearby). Conversation I do not charge for and this is throughout the day and evening. We also integrate with friends and family to get an all round varied experience with language and culture. I can offer pick up and drop off back to Birmingham or East Midlands Airport
Also a contribution towards petrol as i try and drive by car for easement of accessing cities.
Sometimes the train is used. I can organize summer camps, such as sports or horse riding, etc. Just ask… I also offer work experience.

Life with your host family

When we welcome young guests, normally around 18 years of age, we start by showing them around the house and their room, of course. We tell them the set up and times of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are always ready to answer any questions they ask, whether it is on their first day or through their entire stay. Je suis allé 2 semaines cet été chez Corrine et Barry. C'était un merveilleux séjour, ils sont très gentils et intéressants. Les activités que j'ai faites étaient super et la nourriture aussi. Je recommande beaucoup cette famille pour vos vacances.

Je suis un garçon français de quinze ans. J'ai passé deux semaines chez Corrine et Barry. C'était très sympa. J'ai fait une activité chaque jour. Corrine m'a donné des cours d'anglais et j'ai beaucoup progressé. Corrine et Barry sont gentils et drôles, leur maison est chaleureuse. Je recommande.
