Welcome to Magalie's home!

We are a close-knit family of 4 (including our dachshund), living in the popular residential Caversham Heights suburb, in the beautiful town of Reading. We enjoy cooking and entertaining guests. We have been hosting overseas students for over 10 years and enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Our daughter, Myleene, is finishing her final year of secondary school and hoping to study Accounting and Finance at university at the end of the year.

Life with your host family

Sit down breakfast with host, countryside or Thames river walk, play sports such tennis and cycling with host family. As a family, we are very keen on playing board games so after dinner we can play board games. So that they maximise interaction with the host family and learn about the culture, the guest can help make dinner if they would like to. We live in a lovely leafy Reading suburb called Caversham with plenty of countryside walks on our doorsteps as well as sports facilities.
