Catherine took us everywhere, visiting, shopping, walking,… Bryan is very funny, and both are the nicest person 😊 The girls are welcoming too, they took us cycling, horse riding, and we laughed a lot! The dogs are nice and cute. We didn’t have a boring day, always busy in a good way! Learning English is easy in this family because they love speaking and they adapted according to our level! The two weeks I spent with Donna, John and their adorable dog Oscar were amazing! It went surprisingly very fast! It felt like I went there only for 2 days. I was a little bit anxious about going into another family, however Donna's family is different: they are kind, relax and always available for you. Donna really took care of me and John was always here to talk with me, to play chess and cards and to watch football or a movie! I learnt a lot of things related to history, to pronunciation or vocabulary, and to Brighton and Worthing. I really loved walking the dog every day, with him, you can't be bored ;) ! I also visited many museums or Arundel castle which is really astonishing. The food was tasty and Donna was here to answer to my needs. I have nothing to say more except that you need to do it and thank you Donna and John!!

Tristan, aged 12, spent a 2-week stay with Eusebio's family in July 2024. He made a lot of progress and was very happy with his stay. The Sanchis are a warm, caring family but also very attentive to the well-being of their guest. Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

With the goal of improving my English, I chose to spend a week in total immersion in England, with intensive lessons. Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. Through the lessons, I truly became more familiar with the English language, and daily immersion greatly improved my skills. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
