Welcome to our home in the heart of West Limerick!

Audrey (37) is a holistic therapist and Adam (37) is a TEFL English and kundalini yoga teacher. Adam's mother, Ibolya (64), is retired and she lives in a log cabin next door. We all love dogs; we have a Chinese shar-pei called Neo. He is an outside dog and a quiet old gentleman. We are a kind and open-minded couple who live an active lifestyle and love spending time in nature, walking on the beach, swimming, kayaking, cycling, etc. We also have a passion for traveling; we like to get to know different nationalities and cultures and hear different languages to broaden our horizons. When I was 14 years old, I stayed with a Croatian host family as an international student. It was a great experience for me, and I cherish the beautiful memories I gained to this day. Now as an adult, I would like to give the same opportunity to somebody else. We are looking forward to welcoming you to the magical Emerald Island called Ireland. We live in a beautiful scenic area in West Limerick, about 30 minutes from Ballybunion Beach. We reside in a traditional Irish stone cottage in the beautiful Irish countryside surrounded by forests. Templeglantine is a village in west County Limerick, between Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale on the N21, the main road from Limerick to Tralee. It’s a perfect place to explore the beautiful scenic counties of Limerick, Kerry, Cork, or Clare. We live 6.5 km from the Barnagh Greenway Hub, which is directly on the Limerick Greenway with a 40 km cycling route.

We will be happy to arrange days out with you during your stay with us. We are a busy family who always like to be out and about enjoying activities and adventures. Our family home is suitable for guests of all ages who would like to improve their English and gain confidence in speaking English. We offer our students fully immersive short and long-term stays with our family, along with a private double bedroom and shared bathroom. If there are any specific activities or camps you would like to do, please let us know, and we will do our best to facilitate you. Depending on the activity or camp, the price may change.

Families wishing to host with Linguifamily must first create a detailed listing, with photos, a description of their living environment, and the activities they offer. We then verify the identity and criminal records of each family member and conduct a one-hour video interview to ensure their profile perfectly matches our expectations.

Secure payments

Linguifamily acts as a trusted third party for payments. Our payment interface, hosted by Société Générale, guarantees the confidentiality of your banking data and the security of each transaction.

We will ask you to pay a 30% deposit by credit card at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due 6 weeks before the start of the stay, payable by credit card, Chèques Vacances, or bank transfer.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours after payment. If the host family needs to cancel the stay (due to family or health issues), our team will offer you other host families that match your criteria, or you will be fully refunded.

We also offer coverage through Axa Travel Assistance insurance, which covers costs such as repatriation or cancellation in case of urgent medical or family emergencies.

24/7 assistance

A question, an unexpected situation, or a need on-site? Our team is available 24/7 to support you continuously, before, during, and after your stay.

Problems are very rare, but in case of any issues, we intervene quickly to find a solution with the host family or, if necessary, offer you an alternative.

Train or flight travel not included

The journey to your host family (plane, train, or bus) is at your expense... and that's good news! It allows you to freely choose your travel dates based on the most affordable prices and the schedules that suit you.

However, your host family may offer to pick you up from the train station or airport (either for free or as an optional service).

Stay of 1 week

Very good stay. A warm welcome, many exchanges and a lot of different activities. A beautiful living environment in a green forest. A calm and relaxing stay. And I learned quite a lot.
