It was his first stay alone abroad. He came back delighted. The whole family was very nice to him. Trish is very caring. They did many sports activities (athletics, cycling, swimming, tennis, and even taekwondo!) with Trish, Arthur, and Geoffrey. Our 16-year-old daughter had an enchanting stay with Magda and her family, where she spent almost ten days in complete immersion. From the moment of booking, Magda contacted us to communicate and start getting to know our daughter. I just spent an extra week with Delphine, Mathieu, and their four children. Upon my arrival in Paris, I was warmly welcomed by Delphine and Ferdinand, the eldest son. The trip to their house went smoothly. We had regular meals and the food was delicious. The children were very patient. A typical day looked like this: we would wake up around 8-9 AM. Breakfast was ready on the table. Then we played board games, went out, or had activities with the parents. Lunch was between 12 and 2 PM. After lunch, I was in my room or we played video games. Often we would go together with the parents to different cities, to the library, to exhibitions, or to restaurants. Everyone was very kind and patient with me. Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
