Our 17-year-old son had a great stay with Mary and Derry's family. Mary offered a wide range of activities throughout the stay: museum visits, cinema, surfing, castle tours, city excursions, bowling, camping, beach, board games... They are very kind, and the family is genuinely attentive to everyone's needs. A nice bonus was the photos and videos sent daily. Our son came back thrilled, and we thank them for their warm welcome.

Our son Robinson, 16 years old, spent a week from the end of July to the beginning of August with Dawn and her son Gareth in total immersion in English. They welcomed us very warmly. They went on many outings and had long discussions on broad topics such as life in Great Britain. Our son Valentin returned from a 15-day stay with Trish and Garret at the beginning of July and everything went well. The program included sports activities, visits, and Trish did everything to ensure that the stay went smoothly. We also received regular photos. It was a perfect stay for my 12-year-old daughter who loved everything. The family communicated well before departure. My daughter went to the 'centre aéré' (pool, team games...) in the mornings from 9 am to 1 pm in a group with very friendly kids her age with whom she exchanged a lot. Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). With the goal of improving my English, I chose to spend a week in total immersion in England, with intensive lessons. Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. Through the lessons, I truly became more familiar with the English language, and daily immersion greatly improved my skills. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
