It was a very charming family, so friendly and so kind. We had good time together as walking around Tunbridges Wells, but also by going to Brighton and to do some sport course like boxing. I hope to keep in touch with them and to come back for a short visit as well.

Pilar is a very welcoming and talkative person. Unfortunately, she is not always available due to her professional activity (Spanish classes in person or online) if one wishes for a simple immersion (without Spanish lessons). However, she encourages students to speak in Spanish as much as possible with each other or with her guests (neighbors, family, friends). She cooks well. The house is comfortable with a fan in each room. I went on a few outings with Pilar (about 3-4 / week) who is an excellent guide.

We chose for our daughter Johanna, the family of Michelle located in the suburbs of London. It was a very good experience for our daughter with a caring family that was always attentive. Our daughter enjoyed the very fun lessons, but also the family outings, whether with the mom or the dad and the very nice kids. An immersion in simplicity that allowed us to discover the daily life of a family and to see London from a different angle. I had a wonderful 3 weeks in Ireland with a welcoming, caring, and very friendly family. I quickly felt integrated. Ciaran and Karen took me to do activities with them on weekends! The meals (breakfast and dinner) were prepared with care and were very good! I wanted to do some volunteering, and the family got involved and organized different volunteering opportunities for me in fantastic places! The living environment is pleasant because the family lives in a spacious house located near the seaside, 10 minutes by car from the city of Drogheda and not far from a bus stop that serves Dublin, among others. It's worth noting that there is a language school in Drogheda where it is possible to take English classes. Ciaran and Karen have a very nice little boy who is sociable and open to exchanges. I thank them for the organization and their welcome during my stay in Ireland! I return with a better level of English and full of memories!

Our son had a great stay with the host family. Since the older children no longer live at home and the youngest was often busy with other things, our son mainly spent time with the parents and the dog. The two weeks took place at the family's vacation spot (since it was early August). The parents were very engaged and showed our son many tourist sites, went sports and hiking with him, and thus passed on their love for the region and French/Basque culture. The cuisine reflected this approach, which our son appreciated. We also requested language lessons that were given daily. All in all, it was an unforgettable stay for our son – and his French has clearly improved in these two weeks! A big thank you to the hosts!

Our stay was beyond my expectations. We had the best time with Carina's family. They are kind, considerate, respectful and very welcoming. They were the perfect hosts, the house was very comfortable, tidy and clean. The meals provided were always delicious. They took us around the area so we had the chance to get to know the local attractions and meet their family and friends, so we could live a true experience and get to live like a local. Our daughter Elena spent two weeks at Julie's house and we couldn't be happier. They took great care of her and she felt like part of the family from the very first day. She practiced French with Julie, they cooked together, took a trip to Paris, went to Parc Astérix, even went kayaking... Plus, she loved the tennis classes she had signed up for, and the evenings at home with their kids were super fun for her. They even had a sushi dinner in Rouen that she was really excited about. Very pleasant and friendly family. Melissa was able to make Amin feel comfortable during his stay to speak English and improve. Amin adapted well to the whole family and came back delighted with his stay. The living environment is beautiful and spacious (large garden) and the meals are very good. Regarding the activities: some were very nice and enriching (e.g., camping for the music festival, cooking). One small downside: sometimes not enough activities. Once again, a big thank you to the whole family for the warm welcome.

Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
