We are a family of 3, mammy Michelle, daddy Gus and Penny who is 3 years old. We have 2 house dogs that love their walks and cuddles. We love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. We have a double room and main bathroom available to our guests. We have a large sitting room/play area and kitchen available for guests to use as well.

We can help the student find an internship, a small job or volunteering opportunities. I can offer volunteer work in Wexford Arts Centre (unpaid), learn about booking events and running a box office, meeting and greeting customers to the facility and showing them around and also how to set up for an event and help out.

I can provide hourly English lessons to help the student with their reading, writing, understanding of the language eg. pronouns etc. There is a direct Bus to Wexford town from Dublin Airport. We are happy to provide the schedule for this and then collect the student from Wexford town.

Life with your host family

We live 10 minutes from Wexford town in the countryside. We can also get to one of Ireland's most popular beaches, Curracloe beach, within a 10-minute drive. We bring the dogs there once a week for fresh air and a run around. We can organise activities in advance to do or simply discover the surroundings and culture. We love to visit Johnstown Castle, Hook Head Lighthouse, Eden Vale, and JFK Arboretum on a regular basis, usually with a picnic in tow.

Michelle et sa famille étaient très accueillants. Agathe a été emmenée à de nombreuses activités, chaque jour. Elle aimait aussi les chiens ! Bonne nourriture. Un grand merci à eux !
