I am a science student and I need to have a certain level of English, which is why I decided to spend a week in England. I happened to come across the website and later this adorable family. I had a magical week: they showed me beautiful landscapes, culinary and tourist specialties, games, and so much more! Aaron makes delicious meals and Kayleigh is a great English teacher as well as a dedicated tour guide! The children are lovely, full of life, and always ready to play outside. Just like Paddy, their adorable energetic cocker spaniel. It was my first stay and I think I couldn't have dreamed of a better first family; they did everything to make me comfortable, to make me feel at home from the very first day, and to ensure everything went well for me. They were truly a welcoming, warm, and caring family. I highly recommend spending at least a week with them to improve your English in total immersion since they only speak English, and to discover English culture. I also had English lessons revisiting the basics of English with Kayleigh, which helped me improve my English. I think you have to be with them to discover how their lives are because I don't have the words to describe what I experienced, it was so incredible. I can never thank them enough for this amazing week; I highly recommend them to everyone, for all ages. Thank you again, and see you very soon!

Siobhàn is a wonderful host. My 16-year-old daughter had a great stay with her and her family. They spent quality time together, whether during meals or while enjoying fun activities. Patricia was like a second mom to our 12-year-old son, who was going abroad alone for the first time. She was able to gain his trust, and he had a great time and learned a lot within this family. The welcome was very good, the family was friendly despite some heavy jokes. Otherwise, in terms of activities, we didn't do much except for one outing to the sea, one to Dublin, and one to Limerick. Other than that, it was work at home every day, which is very tiring after a while.

Our daughter Lisa, nearly 16 years old, spent 2 weeks with Lorraine's family this summer. It was incredible. She was very warmly welcomed, as if she were a full member of the family. Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
