I enjoyed her large apartment with bedroom + bathroom + clean sheets towels + fan / private toilet and its location in Palma. Also our very interesting exchanges during breakfast and dinner, the classes (Spanish + singing), and her many tips for visiting the island. I was a bit disappointed because I did not do any activities with her as she indicated in her presentation. For example: "accompanying me to cook" whereas I was not supposed to touch the kitchen or do certain activities together such as "beach, market, museums" or sports where I could accompany her to the pool but I stayed in my water lane while she was having her class. The only shared activities were those that I had paid for. But it’s not important because she was pleasant and I allowed her her time during the day. I took the opportunity to visit the island on my own thanks to her good advice and she helped me with certain bookings such as ferry/taxi.

Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

With the goal of improving my English, I chose to spend a week in total immersion in England, with intensive lessons. I’m leaving not only with a better level of English but also extremely happy with my stay at Dana’s. Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. Through the lessons, I truly became more familiar with the English language, and daily immersion greatly improved my skills. The accommodation was comfortable, and Maria’s culinary skills were excellent — generous and refined dishes! All in all, I will keep only wonderful memories of this stay. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
