Welcome to Luciana
Hello, we are Violeta and Lucy. We live in a town 20 minutes from the capital of Murcia, Villanueva del Río Segura in the Ricote Valley, an area with a lot of nature. Our urbanization has three swimming pools and a gym that we will be able to enjoy. Our apartment is small but cozy, you will have a bedroom and a private bathroom, and you can enjoy beautiful mountain views from our two terraces. We have two cats, Pirata and Black.
We have a room available with a bed for one person and with its own private bathroom.
Currently, I work from home teaching Spanish to foreigners online, which allows me to adjust my schedule to engage in different activities. In the summer, after having breakfast on our terrace, we take advantage of the morning to go for a walk and do some shopping, visit the typical weekly market in Spain, or go to visit a nearby village or go hiking. We return home for lunch and make use of the warmer hours to take Spanish classes if desired, watch a movie in Spanish, or play board games. In the afternoon, we can enjoy the pool until the sun sets, go for a walk around the village, and then have dinner on our terrace enjoying the fresh air and nature. In the summer, there are usually patron festivals, music, and shows that we can enjoy. We are surrounded by small villages that we can explore either in the morning or in the afternoon. Another activity we do is go to the summer cinema (one of the few typical summer cinemas in Spain that is still in operation) to watch a movie in Spanish. We also cook! You will learn how to make paella and also gazpacho! Our goal is for you to enjoy your stay and practice your Spanish as much as possible. We look forward to seeing you!
My daughter Lucy was really well cared for from start to finish, Luciana is a really thoughtful person and really understood the worries I would have as a parent. This was our first experience of Linguifamy and Luciana and her daughter Violeta went above and beyond for Lucy and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Lucy had a really wonderful 2 week stay, a fantastic learning experience and has made a lovely friendship with Violeta.
In October Luci and Violeta warmly welcomed me into their home in Murcia. Luci successfully endeavoured to cater for my fat-free diet; I thank her most sincerely. She showed me the delightful villages in the area, all clustered around the River Segura. A highlight was the nearby Balneario of Archena. We also chatted for many hours, in spite of her lack of time and probably energy owing to her other commitments - her shop, her online Spanish classes and her artisan enterprise. Overall I feel that my time spent in Villanueva was very useful and most enjoyable. I thank Luci and Violeta and wish Luci well with her business plans and Violeta much success in her studies and future career.
Super séjour pour notre fille Inès (16 ans) qui a passé 2 semaines avec Luciana et Violeta. Inès a été très bien accueillie, a fait de nombreuses sorties / excursions avec Luciana et Violeta, a bien mangé, et a progressé en espagnol ! Elle a pu accompagner Violeta à la sortie scolaire de fin d'année dans un parc aquatique de Benidorm. Bref une famille à recommander :-)
Une famille en or que je recommande chaudement! Ma fille a passé 3 semaines dans cette famille. Entre l'accueil adorable à l'aéroport avec un panneau de bienvenu incroyable; l'accord de l'école pour accueillir ma fille même sur une si petite période (chose rarement acceptée en France comme à l'étranger!), accord obtenu grâce à la mère -Luciana- qui a su mettre tout en œuvre avant même d'être sûre que ma fille ne vienne; une chambre et une salle de bain personnelle pour ma fille; et surtout la gentillesse, la patience, les découvertes culturelles, les repas et cette relation incroyablement forte qui s'est tissée entre ma fille Sidonie, Violeta et sa mère Luciana. N'hésitez surtout pas!!
