My name is Vega and I am a teacher.

🏡 I live with my cat in a beautiful apartment in a central neighborhood of Palma. I have lived many years in a university city and occasionally in other European cities, so I speak Italian, English, and a little German and Catalan, although I will speak to you in Spanish so you can learn my mother tongue. I love music, theater, traveling, reading, swimming, and gastronomy. I enjoy living with people from other languages and cultures, which is one of the reasons I live in Mallorca and why I would love to host you.

🏡 MY HOUSE is spacious, bright, and is a 10-minute walk from the center and the sea. If you prefer to use public transport, there are several public bus and taxi stops just a minute away. It is located in a very quiet residential area, surrounded by various health centers, shops, and sports areas, in a well-connected area with the airport and the train and bus station of Palma. 🚌

🏡 You will have a very bright double room with a private bathroom, giving you the opportunity to share it. The room has two very comfortable beds (IKEA Hemmes daybeds), a desk, bed linens, two individual duvet covers, clean bedding and towels, as well as the possibility of doing laundry once a week.

📚 In the living room of my house, you will find many books and magazines in Spanish. You can also use my piano, bike, and TRX. 🎶

📚 My house is not a tourist accommodation, so I will only accept people who want to experience linguistic immersion in daily life and are willing to take a minimum of 2 hours of Spanish classes (I recommend taking more class hours). Likewise, I will not accept bookings shorter than a week. 🇪🇦📚

If you are a free spirit wanting to explore the island, I will see you at breakfast and during your Spanish classes. If you wish, you are free to spend as much time with me as you like in my daily life to practice your language 🏝️

- A weekly laundry service.

- You can receive additional hours of Spanish by booking them through the platform.
- You can take singing lessons by booking them through the platform. I can teach you from the most basic vocal technique to advanced lyrical singing.
- You can join me in my daily sports activities, dining out, or any leisure activity I may have during your stay. You would need to pay your share.
- For participation in sports activities (swimming, gym). You would have to pay your entrance directly at the gym or the pool.

Families wishing to host with Linguifamily must first create a detailed listing, with photos, a description of their living environment, and the activities they offer. Secure payments

Linguifamily acts as a trusted third party for payments. Our payment interface, hosted by Société Générale, guarantees the confidentiality of your banking data and the security of each transaction.

We will ask you to pay a 30% deposit by credit card at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due 6 weeks before the start of the stay, payable by credit card, Chèques Vacances, or bank transfer.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours after payment. If the host family needs to cancel the stay (due to family or health issues), our team will offer you other host families that match your criteria, or you will be fully refunded.

We also offer coverage through Axa Travel Assistance insurance, which covers costs such as repatriation or cancellation in case of urgent medical or family emergencies.

24/7 assistance

A question, an unexpected situation, or a need on-site? Our team is available 24/7 to support you continuously, before, during, and after your stay.

Problems are very rare, but in case of any issues, we intervene quickly to find a solution with the host family or, if necessary, offer you an alternative.

Train or flight travel not included

The journey to your host family (plane, train, or bus) is at your expense... and that's good news! It allows you to freely choose your travel dates based on the most affordable prices and the schedules that suit you.

However, your host family may offer to pick you up from the train station or airport (either for free or as an optional service).

Stay of 1 week

At the end of September, I had a wonderful week with Vega: in the mornings I studied and in the afternoons I went out to explore the city. Vega adapts very well to my level of Spanish (B1) and helps me learn the vocabulary necessary for my job, in addition to sharing with me the history and culture of Mallorca/Spain. Her apartment is perfectly located, right in the center of Palma, so you can walk to the museum and the historic center, and it's also very easy to catch the bus to go to the beach or the train to Sóller. Her cat, Dorita, is a sweetheart and purrs all the time. I recommend Vega for her patience, her ability to adapt the classes to your desires, and her great cultural wealth.
