Our daughter had a good stay with Rebecca and Mark. She was welcomed in a warm family atmosphere. Their house is located in a very small village, amidst sunflower fields. In the end, and perhaps because of the very high heat, not many nice activities were offered, and our daughter got quite bored (we had limited screen time and television). It should also be clarified with Rebecca regarding the coverage of external activity costs (like treetop climbing, water games, castle visits) as they were not covered, and we found this excessive compared to the weekly price requested.

He was very well welcomed by Julie, her husband Joël, their 2 children: Lytton and Florence, as well as the grandparents: lots of conversations, exchanges, sharing. The family took him to visit the Bridoire castle, the village of Eymet, and to taste an English breakfast. Mathieu also went to Julie and Joël's English school, where he attended the classes of English children. In one week he made progress in English and made friends! A wonderful experience! This week of complete immersion in English allowed me to speak English more easily, of course, but it also gave me a taste for a peaceful family life. Thank you for this unique and so refreshing experience (just 3 hours from Paris and in France!). My baby and I had an exceptional time. My "all in English" week included morning classes (my CV in English is perfect!), afternoon walks to Mont St Michel or in the forest, cooking (long live Helen's lemon cake!), singing… it was an experience where I was able to combine useful and enjoyable. Much more than a theoretical training, I acquired English for daily life and I only want to perfect it even more. Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. Through the lessons, I truly became more familiar with the English language, and daily immersion greatly improved my skills. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
