My son Charles (16 years old) spent a whole month with this fantastic family. He came back thrilled!!! Bernie is adorable, and Mark, her husband, is too. Life is sweet by the sea. Every day, activities are planned alternating between the sea, mountain hikes, culture, and leisure. Charles discovered all kinds of sports (swimming, pony riding, diving, kayaking, surfing, biking...), activities (go-karting, fairs, cinema, bowling, climbing, restaurants...), stunning landscapes (lakes, mountains, waterfalls...), castles, a glassblowing workshop... and more! Every day, Bernie sent me photos, comments, videos, gifs... adorable! For a first experience, it was amazing. Obviously, the whole family now wants to go there! And I’m waiting for the first school results to see the progress... which is inevitable!!! A thousand thanks to Bernie and Mark!!! I highly recommend... at the risk of losing my spot next year!

The stay I had with James and Francine was very enriching; certainly, we are in France, it's not like we are in England, but we are with English people who have bilingual children, so we are really immersed in the English language. Moreover, the village is a village where half of the population is English, which is why every Friday, a 'fish & chips' truck goes around like a 'pizza' truck does in a village; this allows you to meet English people and order a fish & chips in English. Also, Francine is a very good cook; she prepares very good dishes, which are mostly English! Finally, the place is beautiful, very welcoming, and quiet. Everything to spend a language learning stay in a good mood!!

Julie’s family, the hostess, is an English family that enjoys sharing its passions such as music and all creative arts. We wanted a language immersion stay that would make the less English-speaking parent comfortable and help the children progress in their use of English. They were able to meet everyone’s English needs as well as adapt to strong constraints such as my son's food allergies. My daughter needed to prepare for a difficult year in English while being too young to spend a stay alone. Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
