Our son Gaspard (14 years old) spent 1 week with Dawn, who is a naturally joyful and caring woman. The lessons provided by this former teacher were of high quality, and she speaks only English all the time, even with the parents. We were even presented with a detailed report of their days and the progress made by Gaspard when we came to pick him up. Additionally, the outing options chosen during registration allowed him to discover wonderful tourist sites around her farm (troglodyte zoo, armored museum + resistance). Moreover, Gaspard, who loves animals, had a great time with the dogs, cats, guinea fowl, and the thirty sheep present on site. Would do it again and recommend it without hesitation, thank you Dawn.

Mon séjour avec Florence a été fantastique ! Elle habite à Nantes dans une grande maison, 10 minutes à voiture du centre-ville. La ville de Nantes est une très jolie ville et il y a beaucoup de choses à faire – par exemple, un tour du cœur historique ou un tour à propos des esclaves, et aussi de nombreux magasins, restaurants et bars. Je suis restée pendant une semaine et Florence a organisé beaucoup de choses pour moi à faire et donc j’avais une semaine bien remplie ! Cependant, pour moi, la meilleure chose à propos du séjour est Florence. Elle est très sympa, vraiment gentille et elle a toujours la bonne humeur. Elle m’a préparé beaucoup d’exercices pour pratiquer mon français et ils étaient spécifiques à ce que je devais améliorer. Nous avons fait 2 à3 heures par jour autour mon programme et puis nous dinions ensemble et je pouvais pratiquer ma petite conversation quotidienne (elle est aussi une bonne cuisinière !). Florence était très patiente (parce que j’ai fait beaucoup de fautes) et sa gentillesse m’a donné confiance à essayer de m’exprimer en français- je suis très reconnaissant pour ça! En conclusion, je recommande vivement le séjour avec Florence.

I travel a lot and meet many people, but you must meet this couple to understand that it’s an exceptional moment of sharing that you are going to experience!! 5-star welcome, TOTAL immersion in English with a perfect mastery of the objectives to be achieved, an extraordinary commitment and kindness. I won't even mention John's humor (a born English comedian) with whom I laughed a lot and thanks to him, I rediscovered the pleasure of cooking as I love: quick and excellent. Everything is delicious, no false notes but John's Chinese noodles are to die for….. He is my 5-star chef ♥️ If the national education system knew how to transmit a foreign language with the passion that Libby shapes for you, we would all be perfectly bilingual… I loved my classes; she is a very intelligent, conscientious, gentle and of course professional woman!! You are going to love her and work hard.

Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

With the goal of improving my English, I chose to spend a week in total immersion in England, with intensive lessons. Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. Through the lessons, I truly became more familiar with the English language, and daily immersion greatly improved my skills. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
