We had an exceptional experience with Estefania's family who welcomed our 14-year-old son for a total immersion, thanks to Linguifamily. Estefania, the mother, managed to prepare a perfectly balanced program, with learning sessions in the morning (both written and oral) and afternoons filled with fascinating cultural visits for an in-depth discovery of Madrid. Our son got along very well with their two children and participated enthusiastically in the many activities they did together. As we mentioned our interest in gastronomy, Estefania also made sure to introduce him to the culinary specialties of Madrid, which was a real treat for him! We couldn't have wished for better for an immersion stay for our 12-year-old daughter. Jeanne & Scott are caring and available. Taking care of the sheep, the hair, walking with the dog, a bike ride, board games in the evening, and cooking recipes in English to do. Our daughter stayed more than 2 weeks with Katie. The room was very comfortable with a friendly cat coming in for a stroke. Our daughter visited a castle. She also enjoyed riding Irish horses on the beach and went to the pub. Katie shared with us all those good moments with friendly messages and videos. Katie is really a caring person. I spent two weeks in Ireland this summer and it was a really great experience. The family lives in the country but not too far from Maynooth. I have met Nathan who is a nice boy and we had a lot of fun together. I have also ridden almost every day and helped with the horses and dogs they have in charge. I think it's a good stay if you like horses and you want to help with them. Also, it's better if you already have a certain level in English to take part in the conversations. But it's the perfect stay for you if you want to meet new people and if you're a volunteer. And of course, if you want to discover a new way of living and a new culture. Most of the time, you're by yourself and you have to go and try to speak as much as possible. Don't be afraid to leave your bedroom and find the different members of the family or the other students. Georgina also brings you to different activities like swimming, doing a zipline, going to the cinema, etc... So thank you very much for their kindness! And maybe sometime we could meet again!

I had a wonderful stay with Mairead and Brendan, who were very attentive and always available to ensure my comfort. In two weeks, I was able to notice significant progress in my level of English, gaining ease in speaking and finding my words more easily to express myself. Life within their family was warm and friendly, with Brendan, always ready to make a joke, but especially to teach me a lot of vocabulary, whether during daily lessons or when I didn’t understand a word. I thank Mairead for introducing me to Irish culture through visits to museums, mines, and cities, and for the delicious meals prepared with care every day. Thanks also to Brendan for the enriching lessons that considerably expanded my vocabulary, as well as for introducing me to local activities like turf cutting — even though it led to getting the car stuck 🤭. Mairead and Brendan also introduced me to two must-see tourist sites: the Aran Islands and Dublin. Oh, Jesus (Brendan will know what I’m talking about), this stay has been both a great help in improving my English and a wonderful immersion in Irish life.

Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
