We are a family of four living on a working farm in rural Ireland. Nigel is working full time on the farm and Joanne looks after the house and our 6 year old twins Sam and Charlotte! We enjoy a busy outdoor lifestyle with ponies, sheep, hens and our pet piggies! We love to have friends and family over for meals and games nights - Joanne is a professionally trained cook she does all of the cooking at home from scratch so food is an important part of our lives! We enjoy being outdoors and often swim and cycle together and love going to shows with the ponies.

We live in a house with 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and are really pleased to offer 3 double bedrooms and one twin bedroom to students. There is a very large shared bathroom. The house is newly built and the bedrooms are upstairs in the house. The family all sleeps downstairs so the students will have lots of privacy and the upstairs to themselves!

We are very excited to offer an English learning experience for foreign students! Nigel, Joanne, and the twins along with Hannah and her three teenage girls will be here throughout your stay and are dedicated to making your time in Ireland a memorable one where you will learn lots, have fun, and hopefully make friends for life! If students are arriving within a few hours of each other we would of course offer a reduced fee for collection / drop off. We will ALWAYS accompany the students on outings and excursions throughout their stay - students will be supervised by us at all times. As our students will have the option to learn English in the mornings, we will spend the afternoons doing some fun activities either at home or out and about, as the students prefer!

Life with your host family

We are offering two week stays for students aged between 14 and 18. We are delighted to offer English lessons and conversation at home throughout your stay!

We would love to welcome up to 4 girls at a time aged between 14 and 18 who would like to learn English - Joanne and her good friend Hannah both hold a TEFL qualification so all lessons will be held at home in the mornings with Joanne and Hannah.
