We are a happy friendly large Irish family who live in the country side. We have a traditional Irish thatched cottage. We have pets including a 3 dogs, and a cat. We spend many summer nights in our garden bbq-ing and enjoying the beautiful area where we live. We have hosted Japanese, Spanish and French students in the past who all become a part of our family and whom we are still in contact with. It is important to us that everyone who stays here feels welcome and feels like a family member.

Life with your host family

In the school months the children do a lot of activities so we are quite busy. It's slows down a bit in the summer. We do a lot of walking in local woods and drive to the beach which is about 50mins away. We spend evenings in the garden listening to music and playing family games when the weather allows us to. We have family dinners (all home cooked) most evenings. We live close to a local GAA grounds and the children like to go there and watch the local matches when they are on.
