A huge thank you to Trish and her little family who gave my daughter Elisa a wonderful experience. She was very warmly welcomed by the whole family, constantly reassured by Trish as Elisa did not have a very good level of English. The whole family took care of her, with little Saddie even going so far as to stick stars in her room to reassure her! Trish talked to her a lot, took her out as Elisa requested to run, go shopping. Everything was done to make Elisa feel good. The 10 days went by very quickly as Elisa explained. Excursions and days at the sea were also planned. I highly recommend this lovely family.

My son really enjoyed his stay, the children were always very active and well taken care of in general. The communication before, during, and after the stay was great (forgotten belongings!). One downside for my case: 5 French kids out of 6 during the stay. I had (mis)understood that the children would be in total immersion and could really progress. The same goes for the departure day, try to schedule a flight in the early part of the day if possible, because there were 3 departures that day and the entire last day was spent at the airport, knowing that the flight left with a 2.5-hour delay, it was a bit long.

Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). With the goal of improving my English, I chose to spend a week in total immersion in England, with intensive lessons. Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
