Excellent stay for Hugues who just spent 3 weeks with Nora's family. Warmly welcomed, he enjoyed several cultural visits, shared many moments with Nora's large family, and got along well with the different cousins. He attended Gaelic football matches and participated in a tennis and hurling camp. The family adapts to the child's needs, and nothing is fixed. The stay evolved over the days and Hugues' desires. I stayed for 12 days with Lisa and Stéphen. They were very welcoming and warm. We went out almost every day. We visited Dublin and Belfast. We were offered a ride to the center of Monhagan every day, where there is a small shopping center. The town is nice to visit. My room was shared with another person, but we had our own bathroom. Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
