Welcome to Daisy and Nicolas' place.

We are a married couple and we have a 9-year-old daughter.
We both work for ourselves.
My husband repairs, rents out, and sells used bicycles, and I give private or group English lessons and also teach French to English speakers.
I also offer guided bike rides and creative and zero waste workshops. In our family, we try to reduce our waste as much as possible. I really enjoy cooking, my husband gardens, and we prioritize buying local and organic products. In addition to the French language, you will be able to learn French cuisine :-)

I taught English in middle and high school for 12 years before going freelance. And I have been teaching FLE (French as a foreign language) for 3 years. We can pick you up at Nantes or La Rochelle airport, or at the Luçon train station, which is very close to our place.

Life with your host family

We will start with a balanced breakfast, then we will have a 1-hour French lesson. We will prepare the meal together and share the lunch. In the afternoon, we can play board games or go for a walk in the area. We will go to the beach and have a picnic there in the evening, depending on the weather. Then we will return home and go to bed around 9 PM.
