Welcome Greetings! I am an adoring mom to 3 boys and my profession is social work. My boys are age 22 (Economics Graduate UCC), age 21 (Currently Studying at UCC) and 17 in final year of Secondary School. We have two very friendly dogs, a golden retriever and a labradoodle. We are a warm, welcoming Irish family where the kettle is always on, the fridge is never empty, and there's usually plenty of laughter around the house. Our home is busy in the best possible way, with friends and family calling in, everyone gathering around the table for good food, and our two wonderful dogs convinced they're in charge of the place! We love spending time together and would be delighted to welcome a Linguini family member into our everyday life, making them feel like one of the family from the moment they arrive.
There is never a shortage of things to do. Whether it's a trip into the city for shopping or sightseeing, a cinema night, a swim, helping to look after the dogs, kicking a football around the garden, shooting hoops with the boys, or heading off to cheer on the local GAA team, there's always something happening. We also enjoy relaxing together over a family meal, watching a good movie, or simply chatting about everyone's day.
We believe the best memories are made through everyday moments, shared meals, a bit of friendly competition, and the odd bit of organised chaos! Above all, we want our Linguini family member to feel safe, included, supported, and truly at home with us. We hope they'll leave not just with great English, but with wonderful memories, lasting friendships, and a family in Ireland they'll always be welcome back to visit. We live about 3 minutes drive from town and about 12 minutes drive from the city. Our home is in the beautiful countryside and easily accessible by foot, bike or car to town.
