A typical day in our home is calm, friendly, and family-oriented. Weekdays usually begin around 8:00 a.m. with breakfast before everyone starts their day. My husband works during the day, while I spend most of my time at home caring for our 3-year-old son, James. During the day, we often go for walks, visit local parks and playgrounds, meet friends, run errands, enjoy outdoor activities, or spend time at home playing, reading, and doing family activities.
In the evenings, we come together for dinner, which is a great opportunity to talk, practice English, and share cultures and experiences. After dinner, we may relax with a family movie, play games, go for a walk, or simply spend quality time together. On weekends, we often enjoy family outings, visits to local attractions, beach trips when the weather is good, cycling, kayaking, or exploring Kildare and nearby areas. Students are always welcome to join our activities and experience everyday family life in a warm, supportive, and welcoming environment.
We understand that international students may need time to adapt, so we try to create a supportive, respectful, and positive environment where they can feel safe and at home during their stay in Ireland.
