Hi. My name is Angela and I am mom to 2 grown daughters. My two girls are in Australia so it's just me and my dog and a cat and 2 spare bedrooms. My dog is a pug called Benji and my cat is called Spoon.

I worked in Banking since I was 17 and retired early a few years ago. I live in a small gated community 5 minutes walk from Kilkenny City.

I have hosted guests in the past, mainly adults. However, I did host a lovely 19-year-old Ukrainian girl for 3 months. Of course, I am also well used to teenagers, having reared two of my own!

Life with your host family

I am flexible about the board I supply.

Adults guests can choose between half board and B&B arrangement.

I will take my guests to different attractions near Kilkenny. We can catch some movies if they fancy that.

In summer time we can do a barbecue out the back on warm days. Other nice days we can go to the beach in Tramore or Dungarvan.

As I have a large extended family I could bring the guests out the country to our family farm to meet them all.
