Morning A Classic French Breakfast
You’ll start your day with a lovely French breakfast prepared by me.
It includes:
Fresh pastries or bread, Butter, jams, honey, Seasonal fresh fruits
Your choice of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, Fruit juice

Breakfast is calm and friendly. We chat about your plans, the local market, or anything you’re curious about. If you’d like, I can help you practise a little English or French before you head out.

Late Morning , Explore or Join a Local Experience
You’re free to explore Saumur at your own rhythm , the château, the riverside, vineyards, markets, or charming cafés.

If you prefer something guided, I offer personalised cultural walks based on your interests: food, history, architecture, or hidden local gems.

You can also relax in your private space if you feel like taking it slow.

Afternoon , English or Cultural Activities
Afternoons are flexible. Many guests enjoy wine tastings, cycling, or visiting nearby villages.
If you’ve booked an experience, this is when we might do:
- A gentle English conversation session
- A full 1‑hour English lesson
- A cooking activity inspired by Caribbean or French flavours
- A market walk followed by a simple tasting at home

Everything is optional , your stay should feel like a retreat, not a schedule.

Evening Chef‑Inspired Home‑Cooked Dinner
Evenings are the heart of the experience.

The menus are inspired by Michel’s chef expertise, but I prepare the meals with care and creativity.
Expect comforting, flavourful dishes influenced by:

- Caribbean touches
- Seasonal market produce

We always dine together , it’s a warm, friendly moment where we share stories, laugh, and enjoy good food and wine.

After Dinner — Games & Good Company
If you’re in the mood, we can play:
- Light board games
- Word games
- Conversation games
- Or simply continue chatting

It’s relaxed, cosy, and always full of good energy.

Night — Calm & Privacy
Afterwards, you can unwind in your private space, read, or take a peaceful stroll through the evening streets of Saumur.
