On school holidays we will plan out the day, starting with a healthy and varied breakfast around 9am. We will then spend an allocated time doing some English work appropriate for your age and English level (if you so wish). In the afternoon, we can go on an outing either to a local park, Dublin zoo, beach, indoor activity (if raining), forest, museum, sports, or swimming. We are regular visitors to the cinema, which is 15 minutes away in Liffey Valley shopping center; there is also an amazing bowling alley in Dundrum town center that we can offer as an extra (please see paid extras available).
We usually cook at home or go out for a meal at the weekends. You are more than welcome to help cook or enjoy some downtime. I have a wide variety of meals we like to cook, ranging from Irish dishes to Italian, Mexican, Indian, and BBQ. I will discuss with each student what their likes and dislikes are and aim to make a meal according to their tastes. I am also a keen baker and often bake cakes, cupcakes, and many other delicious treats.
After dinner, we usually play some fun games like Uno, cards, Genius Square, or watch a movie. Our children are here when not doing sports or camps when they have school holidays. On a sunny day, we have a water slide and blow-up swimming pool for the garden that the younger children enjoy, and we also have a hot tub. Our garden has a playground with slide and swings, football net, badminton/tennis which we all love to play, and a basketball net so there is no shortage of outdoor activities for you to enjoy :)
