My daughter got covid shortly after her arrival (probably caught it on the plane) and Anne Marie took perfect care of her, regularly updating us... My arrival at Peñaflor was warm and welcoming. The family made me feel at home the second I put a foot in their house. Every day of the two weeks I spent there were full. I visited many times Zaragoza and met with friends of Pau. I went to Tarragona with Carola, Pau, and his friend Ada for 3 days. About my Spanish: when I arrived I didn’t know a word, and the classes with Carola made me understand many things. At the end of the two weeks I was able to understand well and be understood. A first immersion stay for my 14-year-old son and only good memories. It’s a very welcoming family, we spoke via video before the stay to make my son feel comfortable. The house is very nice and he had a great time. We had arranged a few language lessons with Eusebio and it worked well. They also did several outings as a family which he really enjoyed and he returned much more comfortable in Spanish. We recommend Eusebio and his lovely family without hesitation, thank you again!

Everytime she asked me if i was okay/ if there is something uncomfortable/ how was in school etc…. she always cared me with heart and be patient teaching and correcting my english written in a diary. The stay was excellent and enjoyable in every way thanks to, on one hand, the experience of Ben and Giulia, and on the other hand, their human qualities. First of all, the residence is located in a quiet neighborhood of Richmond near several parks and the Thames. It is therefore pleasant to live there, to practice sports, and to go for walks… Moreover, public transport is plentiful (subway, trains, buses) which makes access to London easy. However, one should count about 40 minutes to 1 hour to get to the city center. Additionally, the room where I stayed was very spacious: bathroom/toilet, a desk, a double bed, and even a bookshelf. Next, the one-on-one lessons I had with Ben allowed me to genuinely progress. They are tailored to the student’s level and can be adjusted based on the areas one wishes to work on. For example, when Ben noticed that I was making the same mistake several times in speaking, it was corrected during the next lesson. Added to this is Ben's passion for the English language, which makes the lessons all the more exciting. Finally, Ben and Giulia were wonderful hosts. The conversation was always pleasant and interesting. I was able to learn many diverse things about English culture. The excursions, in turn, allow for discovering London and its surroundings (depending on one’s tastes) in the company of Ben and Giulia who fully met my expectations. I can therefore only recommend these hosts.

Our son, Jean, had a wonderful stay with Fiachra: full immersion (with lots of interaction and activities!), his Year-10 work placement validated by shadowing Fiachra at work, and a perfect relationship with Fiachra and his family (Jean truly felt like a member of the family!). And as the cherry on top, Fatima is an exceptional cook… Communication with Fiachra was very smooth before the stay, and the same goes for the Linguifamily team. In short, the perfect language stay!

With the goal of improving my English, I chose to spend a week in total immersion in England, with intensive lessons. Hello, I’m packing my bags to return to France after spending two weeks at Maria’s. The stay was very pleasant — the family welcomed me as if I were one of their own. Together with Maria, we went on six outings during which I discovered Malta’s monuments, hidden gems, and tourist sites. Through the lessons, I truly became more familiar with the English language, and daily immersion greatly improved my skills. I stayed for three weeks with Stephen and Helen in Donegal, Ireland. I experienced unforgettable moments with their family, and I learned about the cultural traditions of their region. It was an incredible experience. I also had the opportunity to spend a week volunteering at a Child Care Center, which allowed me to develop new skills (speaking English with 3-year-old children was a real challenge!). I warmly thank the whole family of Stephen for their hospitality, as well as Solène from Linguifamily, who pre-selected a host family that met both my objectives: a stay in Ireland AND volunteering. Linguifamily has developed a very good idea by allowing families to get in touch and organize language stays with each other. One must take the time to discuss and make sure everything 'matches' and organize the stay themselves (dates, travel, documents), but Linguifamily guides and reminds us of what we need to do. It’s different from the standard packages offered by other agencies. I find this enriching system because it strongly involves both families in the preparation. The first immersion stay (without lessons) for our son was perfect, and the Spanish host family was very attentive and fully integrated him into their daily life and vacation activities. He came back with great memories and is ready to go again.
