A typical day with our host family in Cashel offers a warm, relaxed, and authentic Irish experience.
On weekdays, the day usually begins with a simple breakfast in the morning before heading off to school, language classes or work. We’re happy to help students get organised for the day and make sure they feel comfortable with their routine and transport arrangements.
In the afternoon, students return home to a welcoming environment where they can relax, study, or chat with the family. We encourage conversation as a great way to practice English naturally and build confidence.
Dinner is an important part of the day for us — it’s when we come together to share a home-cooked meal, talk about the day, and enjoy each other’s company. We love including students in family life, whether that’s chatting at the table, watching TV, or simply spending time together.
In the evenings, students usually have time to do homework, relax, or stay connected with friends and family back home. We provide a comfortable and quiet space for study as well as a friendly atmosphere to unwind.
Weekends are more flexible and may include family outings, local walks, visiting nearby attractions, or simply enjoying a slower pace at home. Students are welcome to join us or make their own plans.
Overall, our goal is to provide a supportive, friendly, and inclusive home where students feel safe, welcomed, and part of the family while experiencing everyday life in Ireland.
