Welcome to Jérémy & Elisa
Hello,
To simply describe our family, we are a married couple (35 and 33 years old) with two children (7 and 10 years old).
We live in La Chapelle Rablais (77370), a lovely little rural town in Seine et Marne (1 hour from Paris).
We have a large garden, which is very enjoyable. We have animals (sheep, chickens, turtles, a cat, ...).
We live in the countryside and can host a child or teenager to introduce them to French culture.
We really enjoy sports and cultural activities. Therefore, we can organize activities based on the expectations of the young people we host.
The Seine et Marne department is large and located in the Île-de-France region. There are numerous and diverse activities: hiking, museums, sports activities (cycling, swimming, ...), ...
We offer to host your child during school vacations so that we are fully available and can organize various activities.
We do not speak English fluently, but we manage to get by. We can easily provide French lessons for all levels.
Our motivation is to help young people love our country and culture. We are caring individuals and attentive to the concerns of young people.
Regarding meals, we adapt to the tastes of each child (discovering French cuisine, ...).

We cannot thank this wonderful family enough for the incredible experience they provided our son during his half-term stay. From the moment he arrived, he was welcomed as part of the family and treated with such warmth and kindness. The two boys were fantastic companions, quickly becoming friends and helping our son feel at home. The family setting was absolutely magical - complete with adorable kittens and gentle sheep that fascinated him. This authentic French countryside experience was everything we could have hoped for. The care and attention this family showed was extraordinary. They went above and beyond to ensure he felt comfortable, safe, and happy throughout his visit. We could tell from his updates that he was having the time of his life. This family opened their home and hearts to our son, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We would recommend them without hesitation to any family looking for an authentic, nurturing experience.
From the moment I made contact with Jérémy he made me feel at ease. From the planning of my son arriving to departure it was all in hand. The whole family made Elliot feel welcome. They planned lots of activities. It was total French immersion for my son which is what we wanted. Great communication from day one and lots of photos sent to let me know how he was getting on. He loved all the activities they had planned. He got introduced to snails which he loved. He was made to feel like part of the family with lots of games and conversations to help him with his French. My son stayed for a week and I would highly recommend Jérémy and Elisa as a host family.
