Couples

If a couple comes together and they want joint classes, that is fine if they are at the same level - an assessment / evaluation test will be set at the beginning of each course. If only one member of the couple wishes to have classes, that is OK as well. If a parent accompanies a child who is having classes, it is preferable that the child attends the classes alone. My flat is in the center of Perpignan, therefore easy walking distance to shops, cafes, and restaurants. I accept students from 15 years old.

I have taught all levels of English and French in International schools and Universities. I have prepared students for the UK education system, GCSEs and A levels, plus I have taught the IBDP programme, the International Baccalaureate Diploma, in many countries with excellent results. I set up my own English school in France, in Agen, which was a Cambridge Examination Centre. I have also taught EFL (English as a Foreign Language) and ESL (English for Second Language speakers). I have prepared many students for the Cambridge Exams, e.g., CAE (Cambridge Advanced Exam) and FCE (First Certificate in English). I have extensive experience preparing students for the IELTS exam, which is required prior to University entrance in the UK, Australia, NZ, and Canada. I have also taught Business English and run BEC courses (Business English Courses). I also worked as a Cambridge Examiner for many years.

Life with your host family

After breakfast, we can also do language/conversation classes, English immersion classes for 1 hour per morning, if you wish, either conversation or grammar, holiday English, business English, studying the topic of your choice.
