Welcome to Fernando and Lorena’s House

We are a married couple. My name is Fernando, and I am Spanish. Her name is Lorena, and she is Brazilian. We have been living in Cork for almost eight years, and six of those years have been in this house. We love spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking or walking around the city. We share hobbies such as yoga, traveling, and cooking meals from different countries. We also love sports, especially soccer and tennis. We also enjoy meeting people, especially those from other cultures, so we can learn from them. Lorena works as a manager at a café, and I work at a kindergarten center.

Life with your host family

During the week, Lorena and I usually work from morning until evening. I work Monday through Friday, and she doesn't have fixed days depending on the week. So, in the morning we have breakfast and go to work. When we get back, we like to cook and have dinner together. To end the day, we like to watch a series or a movie on TV. We would love for our guest to join us for these moments together, but we always prefer that our guest feels free to choose what’s best for them.
