Hello My name is Geraldine and I live with my husband i am a volunteer with various charities in Co Clare Stephen my husband is a Manager in Shannon Airport. We host students for the Accadmic Year or term in our home Each Student has their own Room supplied with Hair Dryer Towels and bed linen.My home is extremely well maintained and very clean. All meals are provided including a packed lunch however we work like a family and everyone helps each other.

I prefer to host girls. My house is very comfortable and clean; each student has their own bedroom, and they share one bathroom. There is also a games room where the students can watch movies or play board games with their friends.

Life with your host family

School starts at 9am until 4pm. We usually have dinner together and talk about the day, if we have activities like dance, music, etc. Weekends usually consist of a trip to see local sights, surfing, or hiking. We are usually an active family. Local horseriding is available, Newmarket on Fergus is very close to Bunratty Castle, and we can walk to Dromoland Castle.
