Hello and welcome to our page.
We are living in the heart of Tipperary in a town called Templemore. We are a family of 4 and have been hosting international students for many years. We are Police vetted and provide a safe environment for your child.
Our guests are very much a part of our family while with us and we treat them as our own.
My children love having older kids in the house and really enjoy the company and making new friends. The atmosphere in the house is great fun and there's always lots of mischief happening.
Fiadh loves gymnastics, hip hop dancing, swimming and theatre school she's always singing and dancing and everyone has to do Just Dance in the kitchen.
Noah loves swimming, soccer, hiking, cycling, board games and his Nintendo switch. There's fierce competition with Mario kart and everyone gets involved. We all love a game of 31 cards too.
We host lots of different nationalities together during the summer and it creates wonderful friendships and they get to experience different cultures and traditions. Only English is spoken at all times during your stay and you might go home with an Irish accent 😉
We do not offer the Total Immersion Guarantee, so there may be other students who speak the same language as you during the stay.
I have single, twin and triple rooms available. We can take friends and siblings together. WIFI throughout the house so you'll always be in contact.
I can organise volunteering in Schools, Shops and Hotels.
Our day varies from day to day depending on weather and activities booked. If it's raining we have lots of games, dance-offs, Mario Kart, baking, and movies to keep us entertained. We have the lovely town park behind our house. You can go walking through the woods on the many trails, pass the fairy fort and book nook, and grab a book from our library across the road and go to the lake and curl up reading. You can play Tennis, Pitch & Putt, Golf, Football, Soccer. We have an Athletic track and a park run every Saturday that you can join. Try out a martial arts class or go to our neighboring town to go swimming and shopping. We have lots of lovely hiking trails nearby and lots of equestrian centers where you can attend a lesson or attend Pony Camp. All activities are pay as you go to the local clubs. Templemore's train station is a few minutes walk from our house if you wish to explore our major towns and cities.

*Day trip to Kilkenny City €80.00. Visit one of Ireland's most cosmopolitan cities in the heart of Ireland, see the 12th-century Kilkenny Castle and explore its medieval streets and afterwards go shopping.
*Visit heritage Towns in Tipperary €20.00. Explore Thurles, the birthplace of Gaelic Hurling. Explore Roscrea, one of the oldest towns in Ireland.
*Cultural Day Trip. €80.00. Visit The iconic Rock of Cashel, explore Cashel town, then go on to visit Cahir Castle where lots of movies have been filmed. Have a picnic by the river.
*Mitchelstown Caves and Glengarra Woods €25.00
*Roller skating and Bowling €35.00. Visit Portlaoise and go 10-pin bowling and try disco roller skating.
*Explore Lough Derg. €50.00. Visit Lough Derg and see spectacular views and take a dip in its lakeside beach.
*Attend an Irish hurling match €10.00
*Devils Bit €10.00 Hike the Devils Bit Loop and get showcase views of the Galtee Mountains.
*Adventure park. €100.00. Castlecomer Discovery Park or Emerald Park or Aqua Park. Choose one and test your bravery.
*Kayaking and Canoeing €35.00-€45.00. Go on one of our many rivers and test your skills.
*Swimming €12.00 Go to Thurles or Roscrea Leisure Centre
*Cinema €15.00 Visit Thurles cinema

Je suis resté avec Catherine et s famille ces dernières semaines car je voulais améliorer mon anglais. Elle m'attendait à l'aéroport et s'est très bien occupé de moi. Depuis que je suis ici, nous avons fait des excursions d'une journée pour explorer la belle campagne et j'ai appris aussi à jouer au golf, au tennis et fait du kickboxing.
The house was in a very quiet small town of Templemore. The room in which I lived was very warm. It is a very welcoming and smiling family with two very nice children too. During this stay I was able to discover the different cultures, city and language of this country. We were able to have a pleasant time with the family such as admiring the Halloween parades in the cities of Galway and Limerick. We were able to create a link with the children as in the morning we took them to school, so we did fun activities. We were able to visit different monuments in the cities near Templemore: the castle "Rock of castel", a park "Cahir park", the forest of Templemore where we can walk, the sea in Galway so I was also able to take a 2-hour horse ride in Rusheenmore. I also participated in the Halloween walk in the evening in the forest next to the house with the children. It was full of unforgettable moments and where I enjoyed it. Catherine et Rory ont fait preuve de beaucoup de gentillesse et de bienveillance pour rendre le séjour de notre fille agréable. De plus, la présence d’une autre étudiante espagnole du même âge a été très appréciée car les activités sont parfois limitées dans une petite ville de 2000 habitants.
