Welcome to the home of Alex and Marina.

We are Alex and Marina, two qualified Spanish teachers who open the doors of their home to provide others with the opportunity to live a unique experience in a village of about 7,000 inhabitants in southern Spain, at the foot of the mountains and very close to the Mediterranean coast. You will be able to learn Spanish while exploring spectacular corners of Sierra Nevada, the history of Granada, and Mediterranean cuisine.

They can be arranged according to the guest's needs. - Cultural Tour in Granada: Enjoy a guided visit through the unique corners of the Albaycin neighborhood and viewpoints overlooking the Alhambra in the historic city of Granada. Don't miss the experience of witnessing firsthand the blend of cultures that has coexisted in the city for centuries.

- Tapas Tour in Granada: Mix with locals in the experience of having some tapas at 3 places in the city of Granada. The activity includes 1 drink and 1 tapa at each bar.

- Mountain Excursion (medium level): Enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Sierra Nevada by hiking the famous Vereda de la Estrella route. This circular route lasts around 6 hours (including breaks), has a length of about 19km, an accumulated elevation of 1700m, and reaches an altitude of 1850m. This route can also be shortened, avoiding an additional 2km of elevation. The excursion includes transportation by car, lunch during the hike, and a drink at the end of the route to celebrate.

- Mountain Excursion (high level): The route from Capileira to the Poqueira Refuge is one of our favorites. This circular route has 2 alternatives: one of them is a bit more accessible (without deviating from the circular route) and one more intense (deviating and ascending to the Refuge). The more accessible option lasts about 8 hours (including breaks), has a length of about 18km, an accumulated elevation of 1800m, and reaches an altitude of 2150m. The more intense option adds 370m of positive elevation over 1.2km to reach the Refuge at 2550m altitude. The excursion includes transportation by car, lunch during the hike, and a drink at the end of the route to celebrate.
