We are a family of 4… myself Sam an office manager working from home, my partner Matt, a local government office, also working regularly from home, our 14 year old daughter Amelia and our cat Koko.
We live in a lovely large 4 bedroom house in a rural village called Hamstreet.
We enjoy walking, exploring the outdoors and having adventures together.
We have been hosting for over 6 years both students and parents with child(ren) groups.

Home language lessons are for basic beginners only and comprise of worksheets and sentence formation, along with conversational tasks and games to support language learning. We offer no more than 1 hour per day for this type of learning.

We can support you looking into additional language courses locally but can not guarantee a placement on a local course. These are usually weekly not daily with fees as well as travel costs. Paid trips are priced at per person and include transport.

Full Immersion Guaranteed

The host family optionally guarantees that there will be no other people speaking the same language during the stay.

Life with your host family

Breakfast is offered between 7:30am-9:30am depending on guest preference.
Depending on the plan for the day the morning then may consist of things such as:
