We would tailor it around our guest and their age.

Breakfast at 8am could start in the garden (weather depending) which is large with 7 acres of woodland. (You may see deer walking through.)

It usually consists of many different cereals, toast, fruit, and yogurts. Eggs can be cooked if desired.

Then maybe a short trip out to a garden center, a walk somewhere depending on the weather, or a lazy morning in the garden or watching a movie. We can cook if you like to bake too. We have lots of books also you can read.

If you like a gym, we have a gym at the house with various machines and weights that you can use. If the weather is okay, the outdoor heated pool will be in use.

An afternoon trip could be swimming, a walk around Beachy Head, or visiting one of the many villages around us, stopping for tea and cake. Or a trip into Eastbourne to see the sites. We also have a lovely Marina with lots of restaurants.

Home for a movie night, a lovely home-cooked meal, or an occasional takeaway. Some nights family will come over for a BBQ and swim.

This would generally be on the days we don’t have a day trip planned.

We can discuss day trips with you beforehand, but these are some of them below.

- Day trip to Brighton (the famous Lanes) has a great Pier with an amusement arcade and fairground rides on the end.
- Trip to a football ground. (Brighton is our nearest football stadium)
- Day trip to London. Visiting Buckingham Palace if you wish. Harry Potter, etc.
- Theatre trip to London if booked beforehand.
- Beach day to Eastbourne or Pevensey Bay.
- Hastings for the day (1066).
- Battle Abbey for the day.
- Visit to Pevensey Castle (lovely tearoom nearby).
- Herstmonceux Castle and science center.
- Michelham Priory.
- Lots of theme parks near us: Thorpe Park, Chessington, LEGOLAND.
- Can arrange a trip to Drusillas Zoo.
- We also have a great children’s outdoor/indoor playground called Knockhatch Adventure which is 5 minutes from us. This is a great family day.
- Eastbourne does have a theatre too (Congress Theatre) so you are welcome to look at what’s on whilst you are here.

Eastbourne hosts Airbourne, which is a great day in August if coming then. People come from miles away to see it!

You will enjoy an English breakfast and an English afternoon tea when you stay with us!

You will mix with our large family if they come over and join in with all family activities. I have grandchildren ranging from 14 years to 1 year old, so there are lots of children to interact with if you wanted.
