As a host family, we offer a warm, friendly welcome and a safe, caring environment where an international student can stay and expect to be treated as part of the family. We are an easygoing and happy family with a very strong family bond.
We are a family of 3 from County Cork, Carrigaline. My husband and I both work full time in a hybrid model, working from home 2-3 times a week, and our daughter is studying in 6th year.
We love hiking in nature and exploring the breathtaking landscapes that surround us. We also enjoy family walks in our local parks. We love spending time together, listening to music, watching movies, and both my daughter and I love cooking and trying new recipes.
We hosted a Spanish student during the academic year of 22-23. She initially came for 2 months and then extended her stay with us, deciding to stay for the whole academic year.
