My family consist of, myself, husband Barry and two Adult children with four grandchildren.
We are both retired and have opened our home to hosting students and Couples visiting South Africa for the past 13yrs.
We both love the nature and surroundings Cape Town has to offer and taking long walks on the
beach..we would visit family and have family gathering at our house, which is a four bedroom house, a pool and a flatlet on the premises. On Sundays we would go to church and weather permitting take a drive into the City which is 17klms away.

Adult guest would live in the flatlet next to the house (self-catering)... it has two double beds in the room, bathroom, shower, and kitchenette for self-catering. Self-catering means you need to buy/provide your own meals... The flatlet can accommodate a couple with two children under the age of 12 years or two adults sharing.
Exchange students will live in the house and breakfast and dinner will be provided.

Life with your host family

We would spend most of our day site-seeing, or walking on the beach (weather permitting). Family gathering and shopping in the City or Mall. At dinner time we would eat together and enjoy the conversations and cultures shared.

With a friend, we stayed for 15 days with Cathy and Barry. Thank you to them for this wonderful experience that allowed us to discover Cape Town and its region during the day while sharing family moments over dinner in the evening, practicing the English language (we also shared our meals with the 2...
