Welcome to Our Homestay – A Home Full of Learning, Laughter, and Warmth
Hello and thank you for considering our home for your homestay experience!
We are a vibrant, friendly family of four living in a peaceful, spacious countryside setting — the perfect place for students seeking a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment while studying away from home.
As a fully qualified teacher with over 14 years of experience teaching across all subjects and age ranges, I’m passionate about education and creating enriching experiences for young learners.
I bring that same dedication and care into our homestay, offering not just a place to stay, but a place to grow.
We have two outgoing and academically-driven boys who love meeting new people and are always eager to share their interests — whether it's football, science, reading, or exploring nature.
Our home is a lively, respectful space that encourages both fun and focus.
Our house is surrounded by extensive grounds, offering a blend of freedom and recreation. Whether you enjoy jumping on the trampoline, shooting goals on the football pitch, or playing a casual game of badminton, there’s always something to do outdoors — a perfect balance for study and play.
And let’s not forget our newest family member — a 14-week-old cocker spaniel puppy! Calm, affectionate, and wonderful with children, our little pup adds a warm and joyful presence to our home life.
We believe in family meals, open communication, and creating a supportive, engaging environment. Students staying with us will be welcomed not just as guests, but as part of the family.

We’re fortunate to have extensive outdoor space for students to enjoy during their stay. Our grounds include facilities for badminton, football, basketball, trampolining, table tennis, and even a home gym – perfect for staying active and having fun outdoors.
For those who enjoy swimming, there’s also a local swimming pool just a short distance away, which is easily accessible.
We believe that fresh air, physical activity, and time outdoors are essential parts of a balanced and enjoyable experience – and our space is set up to support just that!
A typical day in our home is structured, supportive, and full of opportunities for both learning and fun — ideal for students who want to feel part of a family while staying focused on their studies.
Morning:
Our day usually starts around 7:00–7:30 AM with a calm and friendly breakfast together — a mix of cereals, toast, fruit, or something warm depending on the day. We like to make sure everyone begins the day feeling nourished and ready. I’ll usually be on hand to help with any school preparations or questions students may have before they leave for school or study.
Daytime:
During school hours, the house is peaceful and quiet — perfect for focused study if the student is working from home. As a qualified teacher with 14 years’ experience, I’m happy to offer structured support or tutoring across all subjects, if needed. Afternoon / After School:
When the children return from school, there’s time to relax and chat over a healthy snack. This is often followed by a mix of free time and optional homework support. Guests are welcome to join our boys in outdoor activities — whether it’s a football match, bouncing on the trampoline, or a game of badminton in our spacious garden. It’s a great way to wind down and get some fresh air. Evening:
We sit down together for a home-cooked dinner around 6:00 PM. This is an important part of our day where we enjoy good food and share stories or highlights. We’re happy to cater to dietary needs and make sure guests feel comfortable and included.
After dinner, there’s usually a relaxed atmosphere — perhaps a film, some board games, or quiet time to read, study, or message family. Our new cocker spaniel puppy often makes this time even cozier — he’s calm, cuddly, and loves the company.
Bedtime:
Our boys start winding down around 9:00 PM, and we encourage a similar quiet routine for our guests, ensuring plenty of rest and a peaceful night.
We value respect, kindness, and a positive routine. Staying with us means being part of a caring household that balances structure, support, and fun — with lots of opportunities to practice English, explore the outdoors, and feel truly at home.
