Welcome to Rosa's

I am a qualified TESOL teacher with 30 years experience. I am a single parent and currently live with my daughter who is 21. My daughter is away at university and will only be home in the holidays. I have 2 cats and 1 dog. I enjoy walking my dog, gardening, reading, films, and days out. I am vegan but I can cater for vegetarians and meat eaters too.
I live in Wanstead, zone 4 on the underground. It is a leafy safe suburb with a vibrant High Street with lots of cafes and pubs. We have a market the first Sunday of every month and craft fairs some weekends. It's 3 stops to Westfield shopping centre and about 25 mins into the city.
I look forward to sharing my home, having company, showing you my local area and the city of London.

Your English immersion experience :
A typical day with us

Morning coffee/tea and breakfast when you're ready.
Lessons would be in the morning.
After that you are free to explore the local area or the city.
Usually at about midday I go dog walking nearby in a local forest or park which you are welcome to join.
I tutor at home weekdays 3.30-7.30pm term time.
Dinner is usually around 7.30pm.
Weekends or after your lesson I can accompany you on any trips.
There are so many things to see in London and I can be flexible with the activities you'd like to enjoy.

I can organise paid activities that you are interested to do, eg London Eye, Harry Potter Studios, Thames Boat trip, Natural History Museum, Madame Tussaud, Theatre, Exhibitions, etc. Let me know what you would like to do and I will see if/when there is local availability and the cost and I can add this to your booking. Day trips you will need to cover your transport cost and any admission costs, Trains into central London are about £8 return and there are lots of places with free admission. Packed lunch will be included on days out if you are full board.
