Our mission: to make language learning more human, more accessible, and more personalized by giving everyone the opportunity to experience real immersion at the heart of a family.

Every year, more than 280 host families welcome participants of all ages - teenagers, students, adults, and seniors - and guide them through a stay that blends cultural discovery with everyday family life.

On Linguifamily, each traveler can contact the families they’re interested in, exchange messages, ask questions, and take the time to get to know them before booking.

This transparency helps build trust from the very start and prevents any unpleasant surprises upon arrival.

Finally, bookings are made directly online - simple, secure, and without intermediaries - because a great language stay begins with a clear and stress-free experience.

Make language stays affordable to everyone

It all started on a summer evening, around a dinner with friends. During our conversation, we realized we were all looking for a simple and affordable way to send our children abroad for an immersion experience… but we could never find the right option.

A few dinners (and many hours of work) later, Linguifamily was born. Founded in 2020, the platform directly connects travelers with carefully selected host families — warm, caring families like the ones we would have wanted for our own children.

Today, our ambition remains the same: to make language stays accessible to everyone and to facilitate international mobility for both young people and adults.
