We are a Family of 4 living in the west of Ireland , 10 minutes from Lahinch Beach and 10 minutes from the town of Ennis. We enjoy meeting our friends , travelling , baking , gardening and good food. Meg is 19 and is in University and Ellie is 16 and is starting 5th year in school. DAD works in security and I work in A school as a special needs Assistant. I am interested in a long term student for this academic year either from Oct to Dec or Dec to May. I'd be willing to take a mature student wishing to do work experience in our area too. A 15 - or 16 year old academic student would be ideal as Ellie is 16 too.
I have 2 x single rooms with a shared bathroom
We are hosting students for the past 10 years. We look after our students and trust they will respect and enjoy their time in the West of Ireland. We encourage independence and trust the students will enjoy getting out and enjoying all our area has to offer.
School begins at 9am so buses leave our village at 8am . Ypu are up at 7.15/7.30 am. Bus comes home around 4.30/5pm . We eat dinner as much as we can with each other. Then start into your study . Have a snack around 7.30/8pm and bed roughly around 10pm. On weekends it gives time to meet up with friends or to relax and do a bit of sight seeing.
