Bienvenue en Irlande chez John et Patsy
John est un professeur d'université à la retraite et accueille des étudiants en langue anglaise avec sa femme Patsy depuis plus de 10 ans. John et Patsy ont un fils et deux petits-enfants.
Nous accueillons un invité à la fois et nous fournissons une salle de bain privée.
Cours d'anglais, jusqu'à 20 heures de cours par semaine + 4 visites culturelles par semaine au choix parmi le Gaol Heritage Centre & Radio Museum, le château de Blarney, la galerie Lewis Glucksman, l'église St Anne (Shandon) et sa tour + Butter Museum, le Cork Public Museum (situer dans Fitzgerald Park), Gougane Barra, le marché anglais & St Patrick’s Street, la galerie Crawford, Nano Nagle Place.
My stay from July 23 to July 30, 2023 with John and Patsy in Cork went very well. The welcome was perfect, the house was very comfortable and tastefully furnished, the room provided was very good. The area is very quiet, there is a bus stop not far to get to town, but you can also walk there because the center is not very far. I shared John and Patsy's life for a week and everything went very well. Their dog Mr. Bailey was adorable. Patsy and John are very open people and there were many interesting conversations. John's English lessons were well organized and very useful. Besides his skills as a teacher, John also deserves the title of chef and I really enjoyed the meals he prepared. My stay included guided tours. John took care of these beyond my expectations, acting as my guide, and introduced me to very beautiful places. This stay really made me want to return to Ireland to get to know the country better. Thank you Patsy and John
